Together with Contitech and Tires, Continental Mobile Robots (CMR) , successfully participated for the third consecutive year in the intralogistics trade fair LogiMat in Stuttgart from March 19st to 21st, 2024. LogiMat is an internationally renowned exhibition for intralogistics, bringing companies and professionals together from around the world to redefine the future of warehousing and material handling. Continental Mobile Robots proudly presented their Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR), IL 1200, at the event.
The AMR combines precise technology with crafting and expertise. It offers excellent software control, enabling it to autonomously navigate through warehouses and transport loads up to 1200 kg. Both, potential and existing customers showed great interest in the technology and the opportunities which the AMR offers.
In addition to showcasing the robot, another highlight was the live stream from the warehouse test center in Rheinböllen . Trade fair participants were able to witness live demonstrations of the “Lifting Unit” and “Top Roller” use cases in action. Transporting loads from A to B and driving around obstacles demonstrated the safety and reliability that the AMR offers. The longevity of the battery and the impressive speed of 2.0 m/s with a load capacity of up to 1200 kg were continuously observable.
Numerous discussions took place during the fair regarding the functionality of the AMR and its adaptability in operations. This allowed the AMR team to engage in intensive exchanges with customers, highlighting one of Continental Mobile Robots key priorities:
Simplifying communications and ensuring safety throughout the process.
... an outstanding success for us. We have had the privilege of having intensive and fruitful discussions with our customers who highly value not only our AMR solutions, but also our extensive know how and expertise in this area. The positive feedback on our livestream confirms that our innovations and commitment to quality are generating great interest and trust. We are particularly proud of how the trade fair has enabled us to strengthen and expand our partner network. This is a clear sign that together we are on the best path to shaping the future of intralogistics.”
Daniel Willuweit Head of Sales and Marketing
It is crucial to present a holistic solution. Kinexon, as a co-exhibitor at the Continental booth, and Synaos made this possible. Together, we fostered engagement and brought together interested parties. It supported innovation among us and enabled the AMR-Team to have productive conversations and takeaways.
Overall, the intralogistics trade fair in Stuttgart served as a significant platform for innovation and collaboration, showcasing not only current possibilities but also the future development in the industry. CMR will continue to participate in LogiMAT in the coming years to showcase and enhance their efficiency.
